Anti-Bribery Statement

It is the policy of Kennet Equipment Leasing Limited, (the Company), to conduct all its business in an open, honest and transparent way without the use of acts of bribery or unethical practices  in order to gain an unfair business advantage in accordance with The Bribery Act 2010. For this purpose, bribery is defined as the offer of, promise of, giving of, requesting or receiving of any bribe in the form of cash or other inducement.

Every employee and individual acting on behalf of the Company is responsible for acting professionally and with integrity.

The policy has been adopted by the Board and communicated to everyone involved with the business, to ensure their commitment to it. The Board and senior managers of the Company take a ‘zero tolerance’ approach to any acts of bribery by anybody acting on behalf of the Company. Any breach of policy will be regarded as a serious matter by the Company and will be dealt with in accordance with the Act.

Dealings with third parties

The Company will carry out detailed background checks to evidence that all third parties such as suppliers, dealers and funders have anti-bribery and corruption procedures in place.

Raising concerns

All staff have a responsibility to help detect, prevent and report instances not only of bribery but also any other suspicious activity or wrong doing. Staff must report their concerns in confidence to the Compliance Officer. All matters will be taken seriously, investigated and dealt with in accordance with the Act.
